Biscuits and Gravy

Sunday morning goodness!

Ingredients

GravyBiscuits
1 pkg mild breakfast sausage  Bisquick mix
1/3 cup flourOR
3 cups milkPillsbury Grands Biscuits

Instructions

  1. Make the biscuits first - follow the instructions on the package
  2. Brown the sausage in an iron skillet or some other pan
  3. Add LOTS of pepper and a little salt, stir
  4. Add the flour, stir it in thoroughly, and cook for at least a minute or two
  5. Add the milk one cup at a time. Stir thoroughly before adding the next one
  6. Reduce temperature and simmer until it's a gravy consistency stirring occasionally
  7. Put a biscuit on the plate and ladle the gravy over the top
NOTE:
  • For less gravy, use 1/4 cup flour and 2 cups milk
  • For more gravy, use 1/2 cup flour and 4 cups milk
