Sunday morning goodness!
Ingredients
| Gravy | Biscuits |
| 1 pkg mild breakfast sausage | Bisquick mix |
| 1/3 cup flour | OR |
| 3 cups milk | Pillsbury Grands Biscuits |
Instructions
- Make the biscuits first - follow the instructions on the package
- Brown the sausage in an iron skillet or some other pan
- Add LOTS of pepper and a little salt, stir
- Add the flour, stir it in thoroughly, and cook for at least a minute or two
- Add the milk one cup at a time. Stir thoroughly before adding the next one
- Reduce temperature and simmer until it's a gravy consistency stirring occasionally
- Put a biscuit on the plate and ladle the gravy over the top
NOTE:
- For less gravy, use 1/4 cup flour and 2 cups milk
- For more gravy, use 1/2 cup flour and 4 cups milk
